AEGEUS EXHIBITION AT THE STAY WAREHOUSE

The artists interpret the Aegean, which has a hybrid and rich culture, in a color scale ranging from cyan to dark blue, with both abstract and figurative original works inspired by the mythology of the region. In the exhibition curated by Ayşe Pınar Akalın; In addition to the works of veteran and new generation Turkish artists, Jeff Robb and St. South African sculptor Jake Michael Singer, known in Turkey for his Antuan Angel exhibition, is also present. Inspired by 'Aegeus', which gives its name to the Aegean Sea in Greek mythology, the exhibition includes oil paintings on canvas by Ahmet Oran, Kemal Seyhan and Sinan Polvan; Mixed media works of Canan Savaş, ceramic works of Yasemin Vardarlılar, bronze goddess sculptures attributed by Cem Sağbil to the Amazons of Smyrna and sculptures of Ebru Yılmaz Kale are exhibited. The exhibition can be seen until 30th of September.
